Looking to connect with the community? Check out these upcoming opportunities hosted by the Office for Institutional Diversity. 

Staff lunchrooms

The staff lunchroom is an opportunity for all staff members to gather and share a meal together. The first staff lunchroom of the semester will happen on Wednesday, January 29. Lunch will be served in Vollum Lounge from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Each meal is $6.00 and includes an entrée, dessert, and a beverage. Vegetarian options will be available. This event can only accommodate 60 meals and operates on a first come, first served basis.

Future staff lunchrooms will take place on:

  • Wednesday, January 29
  • Wednesday, February 12
  • Wednesday, February 26
  • Wednesday, March 12
  • Wednesday, April 9
  • Wednesday, April 23
  • Wednesday, May 7

Staff research and conference showcase

The first staff research and conference showcase will held on April 9 during the staff lunchroom. During this special lunchroom you will have the opportunity to listen to brief presentations on recent research and/or conferences from some of your colleagues. Question and answer and discussion will follow. You can learn more about the staff lunchrooms on the website

Heritage Programming Committee grant

The Heritage Programming Committee supports community-led initiatives that foster meaningful engagement with the diverse identities of campus. The committee developed a grant initiative that will emphasize the mission of fostering community-driven projects. Proposals are eligible for funding approval up to $500 to support projects that align with the committee's mission. Learn more
