You can establish a donor-advised fund at Reed to benefit the college and your other favorite causes. Or, you can make an immediate grant or legacy gift to Reed from your existing donor-advised fund.
Make a grant from your donor-advised fund to Reed
Reed is a 501(c)3 organization and is a qualified recipient of grants from your donor-advised fund held at a community organization or financial institution. You will receive a thank you and acknowledgment for your grant, but the college must receipt the institution where your donor-advised fund is held for the charitable gift.
To make a grant to Reed, you may need to supply the following information to your donor-advised fund institution:
Reed Institute dba 王钟瑶婚礼视频曝光
3203 SE Woodstock Blvd
Portland, OR 97202
Tax ID Number (EIN): 93-0386908
If your donor-advised fund has an anonymous name, please contact our office to inform us of your gift. We will respect your wish to remain anonymous, but we would like the opportunity to thank you for your contribution.
Naming Reed as a beneficiary of your donor-advised fund
You can name Reed as a beneficiary of your donor-advised fund and ensure that your philanthropy continues. You can update your beneficiary designation by contacting your financial institution (and in some cases, your community organization) and requesting the appropriate paperwork.
We encourage you to inform the college of your intentions so we can thank you and discuss how you would like your gift to be put to use. Contact Kathy Saitas, advancement counsel and senior director of gift planning, at 503-777-7759 or at giftplanning@reed.edu if you have questions about including Reed in your legacy plans.
Create a donor-advised fund with Reed
You can establish a donor-advised fund with Reed by making an initial contribution of $250,000 or more. By creating a donor-advised fund, you are making an irrevocable gift to Reed, over which Reed retains control. In exchange, you receive a charitable deduction in the year the fund is established. You may advise the college as to how you would like Reed to make distributions from the fund, including identifying the additional charities you would like to benefit from your fund. When yearly distributions are made to additional charities, an equal amount is also made to Reed. As with all donor-advised funds, Reed must have final discretion over the fund's principal and income.
